We will explore the North side of the volcano, reaching Piano Provenzana by off-road vehicle. From here, a pleasant walk accessible to everyone towards the 2002 Craters will begin. We will walk on black volcanic sands that, at sunset, create a spectacular contrast with the sky turning pink, purple, and orange.
From the top of the lateral craters, you will enjoy an unparalleled view stretching from the Ionian coast to the Aeolian Islands and Calabria, while the volcano prepares for nature to sleep. An emotional tour, perfect for couples, families, and nature lovers.

Meeting in the late afternoon and ascent by SUV/Minivan. We will cross the Ragabo Pine Forest and the 2002 lava flow as the light begins to turn golden.
We reach an altitude of 1800m. Short stop to admire the alpine scenery of the northern ski resort, starting point for our trek.
Easy but evocative walk between ancient fractures and volcanic bombs. We will climb up to 2050m along the edge of the "button crater" that destroyed the tourist resort.
The highlight. We will watch the sun dip behind the Sicilian mountains, painting the sky and sea red. A moment of pure magic and silence.
